Nyamirama Photos

Nyamirama is located in the Kanungu District in westernmost Uganda, near the Congo. There the land is hilly and fertile, part of the Rift Valley with its lakes, e.g. Kivu, Edward and Albert. It could be a rich province but the roads are bad, so it is difficult to sell agricultural products. It is near the National Parks of Bwindi (with the pygmy people and mountain gorillas) and Queen Elisabeth. Nyamirama is a village and there we find the St. Josephs Parish with its church and school. Below are father Aloysius and Sister Prudence. You also wee school children doing their own laundry on a Sunday afternoon.
